When you think of Medal of Honor and the prestige the series has brought to war veterans since its uprising on PS one, don’t you also think of Linkin Park? Those who pre-order the upcoming Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition will also gain access to an exclusive Battlefield 4 beta, EA announced today.
While this is the first official announcement of Battlefield 4, don’t expect the game anytime soon. Still, is it worth the pre-order knowing that you’ll have first access when the beta does come out?

Project HONOR is an initiative that is dedicated to generating awareness and contributions to charity for fallen warriors from the Special Operations Community in honour of the sacrifices made by them and their families.

Lately, the Medal of Honor franchise has been in the shadow of the FPS behemoth that is Call of Duty. 2010’s Medal of Honor reboot received generally positive reviews and Electronic Arts aims to eclipse that with Medal of Honor: Warfighter. To set the game apart from all of the rest of the war shooters in development, Warfighter introduces individual Tier-1 Operators that are crafted after real-world combat specialists. In the end, there will be 72 unlockable Operators from all over the world, each with their own unique skill set and weapons.

EA has recently released two new multiplayer modes for Medal of Honor, appropriately called Clean Sweep and Hot Zone. The former is a freebie, but the latter, which we’ll describe in more depth, will set you back $9.99.

Medal of Honor was one of the first and most revered first-person shooter franchises on game consoles. That’s partially why it was so sad to see the franchise tumble downhill as time went on. Now it’s back with a brand new look and feel, and both Danger Close and DICE have come along with it. With them, they bring hopes of successfully rebooting this storied franchise. But did they pull it off?

EA has been promoting Medal of Honor like crazy over the past few months. Their line of Medal of Honor Experience videos have been great and all the press they’ve gotten over the Taliban controversy hasn’t hurt, either. EA announced recently that all that publicity is paying off in the form of preorders.

We’ve been bringing you the Medal of Honor Experience videos for several weeks now. Today, we’ve got the fifth installment ready for your viewing pleasure. While this might be the least impressive video of the five, it does something that none of the other videos can boast. Come inside to see what it is.

We had quite the stream of news flowing out of TGS last week. In case you missed it, you can see everything we reported, here. We came to realize today that there were a few pieces of news that didn’t come out of TGS that you may have missed, starting with a new Medal of Honor trailer. Come inside to check it out.

EA have just released the third of their ‘Medal of Honor Experience’ videos, designed to present exactly how Medal of Honor plays. This third trailer is titled ‘High Value Target’, and shows off the game’s online multiplayer.

Over the past few months we’ve had more Medal of Honor coverage than you can shake a stick at. We’re continuing that trend today by showing you another trailer – this one from the campaign.

Who remembers the Medal of Honor beta? We got some extensive play time with it shortly after its launch, and while the core gameplay seemed solid, we were a tad concerned about some of the presentation. With their newest trailer, EA and DICE have eased our minds immensely.

Three new Medal of Honor screens have surfaced from EA’s side of the fence. Don’t lie to yourself… you know you want to see them.

EA could find themselves courting controversy with the upcoming Medal of Honor: the FPS, set in the modern day Afghanistan, will feature content that sees you play as Taliban characters. The game’s producer, Patrick Liu, has responded by saying that the content will not “provoke too hard.”

We’ve just caught wind that the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will grant you access to the Battlefield 3 beta.
We know what you’re thinking, Battlefield 3 hasn’t been announced yet, and you’re right but that’s not stopping EA DICE from making this offer.

The Californian rock back, Linkin Park, will be headlining the soundtrack for the new Medal of Honor game with ‘The Catalyst’, the lead song from their upcoming album called A Thousand Suns.
Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn has also directed his own teaser trailer for the game. It has ‘The Catalyst’ playing over live in-game footage that features the Tier 1 crew in action. The montage is broken up with bold statements warning of “merciless” enemies and “escalation”. It’s all very bombastic.

Can’t get enough of that Medal of Honor beta? The word from EA/DICE is that you’re going to get some extra time to soak it in.

We’ve known ever since E3 that Medal of Honor would be getting a limited edition for the PS3. Now, DICE has released a trailer about this alternate version of the game, but it’s not quite what we expected.
How so?
