The PSN has had ridiculously good updates lately. This update came earlier than usual thanks to a scheduled maintenance. If you didn’t access the Store before the maintenance started then you’re out of luck until it finishes at 5pm pacific.
First, there’s a bunch of deals for the pointless PlayStation Plus subscription service. Zen Pinball is free, amongst other games. Swords & Soldiers is available earlier for PS Plus members as well.
In terms of deals, Mega Man 10 is half priced. Definitely pick that up. If you wait until next week, Mega Man 9, 10, and avatars will be bundled together for $14.99.
Next we have three new games: Blade Kitten, DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue, and Sonic Adventure. Ok, maybe Sonic Adventure isn’t exactly new but you know what we mean. If that’s not enough for you, there’s actually a whopping seven demos to try out.
The PSone Import Store makes its debut this week. The first two games available are Cho Aniki and Gaia Seed, two classic Japanese exclusive shmups.

Now this is a great update! There’s is just so much content for everyone.
First, the legendary Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is only $4.99. Castlevania Chronicles also received a price drop and you can buy that for only $2.99. Speaking of PSone Classics, Soviet Strike is now available. That alone is pretty awesome.
There’s also a bunch of price drops and bundles. Mega Man 9, Age of Booty, and Monkey Island 2 are only $4.99 now. Even better, the Monkey Island 1 & 2 bundle can be purchase for $7.49. Now that is a deal!
You want games, right? Well, there’s Space Invaders Infinity Gene, My Aquarium, Tumble (PS Move), and Worms 2. Looking for demos? There’s plenty of that too. NBA2k11, FIFA 11, Space Invaders, and Worms 2 all have demos just waiting to be played. There’s even PlayStation Move demos for Racquet Sports, EyePet, and Tumble.

After the complete disaster of a game that was Tony Hawk: Ride, Activision hope to turn things around for the franchise that is now second best to Skate.
Tony Hawk: Shred has been announced as the next instalment for the series. There is very little that we know about this game right now but two pieces of key information has been revealed.
