One of the many new titles out in stores today, James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace stands out as a potential winner.
You may remember we got to play the game recently at a preview event and interview one of the team from Treyarch, and we must say we were impressed. It is always hard to do justice when it comes to movie tie-ins, but somehow Quantum of Solace manages to be both a rock-solid FPS and remind you that you are Bond.
Criterion have released the news that Burnout fans have been waiting to hear, they’ve told us what will be coming in their first DLC pack in 2009.
Fans of the series will be pleased to hear that Burnout will now have an 8 player offline mode, Burnout Paradise Party, so that when you have your friends around for those gaming parties you’ll all be able to get stuck into a bit of Burnout.
By now, you’ve probably got some trophies (or maybe you’re going for every trophy possible) and would love to see how well you’re doing against other PS3 owners in your region. Right?
After a short delay and 3 updates later, we finally have our hands on the game we’ve been craving for oh so long. Yes, I’m talking about LittleBigPlanet here and let me tell you, there is nothing little about this game… well, except for the adorable little Sackboy we love so much.
Like Sackboy? Like monkeys? Are you in Japan!?! Ah well, two out of three isn’t bad. Check out this new LittleBigPlanet costume which will be on offer in the Land of the Rising Sun for early adopters of the game.
This week is all about the demos. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Mirror’s Edge and Alone In The Dark Inferno should keep you busy for a while. The usual Rock Band and game videos are back as well. No premium themes this week, I don’t know if I can cope…
Speaking of EndWar, you too can get to try it out (Paintball whelts not included). We got our hands on the Mirror’s Edge demo, and so can you!
PS3 Attitude’s Impressions feature lets you know what’s worth downloading in the land of demo-dom and what’s worth protecting your hard-drive from. This week we look at the much anticipated Mirror’s Edge demo.

It is a cold day in London. The rain has been falling and it seems like winter has finally arrived. After a brief encounter under the clock at Waterloo Station, a team of intrepid reporters and fans head up the M1 to Coventry, where Tom Clancy’sEndWar awaits.
But just as with all good metaphors, the sun began to shine and the clouds parted as we get closer and closer to our objective – hands-on withUbisoft’s new RTS title. Thankfully, nobody broke into song on the coach ride or it would have really ruined the moment.
The PS3 is more than just a gaming machine, it’s an entire media hub. The fellows over at MediaMall Technologies have enabled PS3 owners to access the best videos of the internet through a nifty download called PlayOn. Users are able to access YouTube, CNN, ESPN, CBS, Nexflix, and the ever popular Hulu; all directly from the XMB.
Sony correct, well, Sony and clarify that the invitation Home is only for full-time Qorers … not just those that are jumping on the Qore wagon now.
We care about all the great game franchises you’ll find across the entire PlayStation universe, so when people go ahead and make movies about those titles we sit up and take notice.
One franchise that has yet to make the leap to the PS3 is Max Payne, and we really wish it would. After a not-too-bad-at-all conversion of Hitman to the silver screen, will Max Payne do any better at the cinema? Or is more likely to nestle in with the likes of the Tomb Raider movies (or worse, Alone in the Dark)?
Hiroshi Matsuyama from CyberConnect2 unloads a mammoth amount of Ninja goodness information about upcoming Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm over at the PS Blog.
Want something that looks just that little bit more authentic when you’re playing Guitar Hero?
How about a three-quarter replica of Gene Simmons’ guitar from Kiss?
Our Trophy Wars competition isn’t the only internal battle here at PS3 Attitude.
Some of us (wrongly) think the R2 Beta rocks, but the more balanced members of the team aren’t blinded by the light of new-ness. We’ve seen all sorts of ‘wrong’ in the R2 Beta…
