Burnout Legendary Cars
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
It’s Friday and, as promised, Criterion have announced the second of their weekly reveals. Last Friday we found out about the new Party pack coming in February.
Now, Criterion unveil a new level of awesomeness: coming in 2009 to a virtual dealership near you: The Jansen 88 Special.
What’s so cool about the Jansen 88? Look closer to the above image: it HOVERS. With a click of the L3 stick you can leave the asphalt altogether and cruise around Paradise City at head height. No details of what happens when you hit 88 mph at this moment in time.
Those eager for more details, the Burnout team reveal the full extent of the new pack over at the Criterion site: “This is the first of 4 cars that we’re making available as part of a wealth of new downloadable content for Burnout Paradise. They’re available to buy individually or discounted, if you pick up the whole set. In addition to the Jansen 88 Special, look out for the Cavalry Bootlegger, Manhattan Spirit and the GT Nighthawk.”

So, as expected, the new DLC is not free but who cares? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads …
Make sure you check in next week when another announcement will be made. How can the Burnout Boys top this?
Make your suggestions in the comments.

I hope it not will be to expensive
I guess the free ride is over. Hopefully it’s not overpriced like some other recently released DLC. (I’m looking at you Media Molecule)
Yes, MM had a very overpriced t-shirt. I hope it will get a OK price, and the others too
DLC
But it looks worth it I guess.
We can’t really complain that Criterion are now charging for DLC. After all, they’ve given so much for nothing since the game’s launch a year ago.
This is how you do DLC. Give something for free, ask for money for something extra.
Other companies should take note.
As for the MM pricing of the Week One t-shirt. I believe it’s been universally recognised as too expensive. There is a lot of free LBP content coming – maybe they just got the pricing point on this one particular item wrong and will learn from it.
[...] Week 2 – Burnout Legendary Cars [...]
i bought this pack and still prefer the normal cars as apposed to the legendary ones
