North American PSN Store Update – Nov 25 – Gobble, Gobble Edition

Happy Turkey Day! Sony is getting the party started early in the week so we can all enjoy this update while in our collective turkey coma.
Dude you got your Sackboy in my Turkey! Free LBP Turkey head along with a paid Chimera costume this week. SSFIITHDR arrives with some free tracks to boot, deep discounts offered on some very good games and the aptly named ‘Dismemberment Demo’ for Dead Space lets the few of us not trusted with sharp and/or pointy objects carve out something this week after all. Isn’t that what it’s all about really?

We highly recommend SSFIITHDR along with the 5 sweet free remix tracks; I would have recommended the game higher if it had Trophies already implemented. No worries, a Trophy patch has been all but guaranteed at some point in the future so you have from today to sharpen up on your quarter circle up thumb skills. Full list:

Of course I already own all the games under the Price Promotion.
With the backlog of games I will have after the holidays, I may hold off on PSN purchases until the next PSN sale (Summer? ouch! Yeah who am I kidding 
)
Does anyone know if the free LBP dlc will work with my UK copy of the game? Would also like to see some of the Chimera action in the EU store update…pretty please!

Usually, DLC must be downloaded from the Store of the region where the game was bought. So, probably not.
You can try though – or just download the costume again tomorrow when/if it’s released again on the EU store.

Great question Superted, I am currently sitting on some Japanese exclusive free LBP DLC myself. No LBP game to try it out though.
Unlike Brodiesan, I think DLC from other regions should work. It did back in the day with the free Japanese Ridge Racer decals, so I am hopeful.
I’ve tried the free LBP DLC from both the Japanese and the European stores on my US account and neither one worked
