Call of Duty: World at War DLC on its way

Submitted by on Wednesday, 3 December 2008One Comment

Stephen Totilo of MTV Multiplayer spoke with World at War’s executive producer, Daniel Suarez and here’s what he had to say. He stated that downloadable content is currently being worked upon and that fans should prepare for some multiplayer action when the New Year comes around. That’s less than a month away! What sort of downloadable content should we expect? Will it be similar to Modern Warfare’s multiplayer maps?

Suarez was very cryptic about what type of DLC is being made for World at War. While he didn’t give any official release date, he did state that the content is nothing like they’ve done before and that they want to have two or three packs released in the end.

What’s the content isn’t is something in conjunction with Modern Warfare. The team has no plans to integrate any of the maps or weapons into World at War. So what could this mysterious content be? I for one would like to see something instead of the usual new map packs.
