Home Beta is Down – back soon with 1.02

Ever dependable Ted the Dog has posted up on the community boards that Home will be offline from 11a.m. GMT (about an hour ago) for thirty minutes to facilitate “some updates to the servers”.
Well, that half hour has come and gone and it appears Home is still barricaded up and not letting anyone in. Server upgrades always take longer than expected so hold tight as we’re sure they didn’t drop the code into a black hole or anything.
No updates planned for this patch other than the server tweaks. Are you in the Home beta and, like me, befuddled by the lack of bearded fat avatars that surely represents at least 60% of our demographic?
Let us know in the comments or, you know, E.S.P. – if you have that ability.

I’m in it…not sure the point of it yet apart from random dance offs, the odd game of chess/draughts and being able to watch game trailers in a pretty poor resolution. Hope fully there will be more to do once it’s up and running fully…although to be honest who doesn’t love a bit of D.I.S.C.O.?
The point is to network. Create a club, ask to join other clubs. Try networking clubs. They should do Home trophies to get people familiar with all the things you can currently do in home. All the games within Home there are to play besides bowling. Chess, checkers, arcade, tag. Okay, I added tag. Cause its fun.
Don’t forget to grab all the Items you can from the mall. They are free for now, but once Home goes to an open Beta they wont be free anymore. Plus you will be able to keep all them items you get in the closed beta. And @KosmoCrisis tag you’re it

*befuddled* I did pick up those free items, in fact, for the sixth freakin time. If you don’t already know, everytime they had an version update for Home you had to start all over. Which makes sense as a tester. Most gamers may think this to be weird. But logically, during the testing stages a lot of code is changed. So much so that people, testers, delete or format their shiznit so they may start from a clean slate and not surmount impossibilities to the bug finding forte.
Hence forth, I have for the last time recreated myself in this so called “Home” of mine, and decorated my two personal spaces and my very own club! Yay me!

I just re-read my initial comment and only now understand what you meant when you “tagged” me. That’s close encounters of the virtual kind.
the home beta is a joke i try to log in every day but never works then i just go back to fifa
I wish it was back in the closed beta then i was able to play easily
