PS3 Attitude Awards; Best Music or Sound nominees
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
We’re almost done with this year’s PS3 Attitude Awards nominations. Just two more categories need to be decided, and right now is your chance to choose the game that had the best music or sound.
Will you go for high volume tracks or subtle sound effects? Is the winner a blockbuster, or a sleeping giant? It’s all up to you…
As with all our awards the games chosen were released between 1st December 2007 and 30th November 2008. Our team decided on which games to include through a private poll and you are now voting to decide who wins, with the results to be published before Christmas 2008.
So is it Wipeout that had you bopping your head the most, or LittleBigPlanet?
Did Dead Space deliver, or was it BioShock that made you sit up and listen?
What about Uncharted or Metal Gear Solid 4; were the sound effects music to your ears?
Or did Rock Band 2 really make the grade?
It’s over to you – vote now…
Once you’ve voted, don’t forget to check out the rest of our categories.

Bioshock blindfolded.
MGS4 gets another vote from me. The surround sound effects were incredible (to say the least).
I will say LBP
And I will say, I voted for none of the what the previous commenters have voted for.
I had to go for Dead Space. Play it lights off on a good surround sound system and I dare you not to wet yourself every time you get attacked…
…come to think of it, I should really clean that up at some point…
Wow – 5 comments – all with a different vote.
I think this is going to be the closest Award yet!
Dead Space for me. If you play it using a Surround system, you’ll definitely shit your pants (just like Phreaky did
)!!!
Furthermore, I have never seen such great use of sounds effects in a PS3 game. The littlest sound can scare you. There are even moments where you hear sounds, but nothing happens. And then, when you’re not expecting it, BANG!
LBP again for me! The music was spot on and i think Mm were right not to implement custom music
