Capcom has release the box art for the much anticipated Resident Evil 5. The game is scheduled for release on Friday March 13, 2009. Ooooooh, Friday the 13th, how scary.

“The new box art imagery gives players a sneak peak into the nightmarish world of Resident Evil 5 as the art shows off the most thrilling new features in the game including the action-packed new 2-player co-op, the setting of Kijuju where light and darkness bring new horror and mysterious scribbling that represent a fear that no fan will forget….”

There’s really nothing shocking about the cover art, after all, we’ve already seen that picture before. Still, now we know what to look for in game retailers come March. You know what they say, “Beware the Ides of March because Resident Evil 5 is coming” or something like that. So what are your thoughts on the cover shot? Yay or nay?
