Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Teaser Trailer

Gone are the days of white sandy beaches and beautiful forests; searching for treasure just became much colder. Watch as our friend Nathan Drake trudges through snow and…well that’s about it. It’s a teaser trailer, what do you expect?
What we do know is that the story revolves around famous explorer Marco Polo. It also seems like there will be more free climbing and inclusion of stealth. Hit the jump for the world premiere trailer.
We all knew a sequel was in the works and it was only a matter of time before news would start to flood in. It also appears that we will be seeing more of Nathan soon at the upcoming SpikeTV Video Game Awards. The upcoming issue of Game Informer is going to feature 10 pages worth of information so stay tuned.
So what do you think of the trailer? Anyone else think that artifact in the ground looks like the knife from the 1994 film The Shadow? Anybody know what The Shadow is? Let us know in the comments.

If anyone is interested – the Marco Polo aspect would suggest locations such as China and Persia (and maybe India and Indonesia).
The snowy vista displayed in the teaser could also be the likes of Nepal or Tibet which were close to the Silk Road.

The Marco Polo aspect was hinted at in the Home Beta. In Sully’s Bar one of the artifacts was a journal belonging to Marco Polo. Since it didn’t have anything to do with the first game I was pretty certain it would with the second.

I haven’t actually checked out the Uncharted GameSpace yet. I’ve been meaning to do so and now I have an even better excuse!
Woohoo! Uncharted is the best game on any platform. Can’t wait to play it soon.
Did I mention this trailer was awesome and showed absolutely nothing other than Nathan Drake hasn’t seen soap and razor for quite some time.
