Faith and a .45 is officially on hold

Submitted by on Thursday, 29 January 20098 Comments

Not having been in the limelight for a long time, many may not remember Faith and a .45 . For those of you that are not aware of the game, Brodiesan may be able to help you out; just read his Games of 2009 article.

For those Ruby (yes, the red headed beauty) is no stranger, you’re in for some rather heartbreaking news. Here at PS3 Attitude Towers, when we read last January’s Press Release about the game, we knew from that moment that something really special was in the makings.

That’s why a couple of days ago, we decided to contact Deadline Games. We wished to know what the current status of the game was and thankfully, we got an answer. As they kindly let us know, the development for Faith and a .45 has been paused, due to the lack of a publisher.

Does that mean there is still hope for the game? We hope so. Rarely we see such original concepts, in a videogame industry that is constantly getting pounded by stereotypes. Seeing Faith and a .45 hitting the shelves would be a dream come true for many gamers out there (including me). Let’s just hope they’ll find a publisher soon.

What do you think? Has Faith and a .45 entered the “canned” zone or is there chance we see it getting released? Furthermore, what publisher you think would fit best for the game? Let us know in the comments section.
