Has FFXIII hired the Helghast?

Yes you read that headline correctly.
Along with seemingly losing the release list plot, ‘Sqeenix’ have apparently become lazy in their character development. I know that might seem like blasphemy, but hear me out. I think I have a case.
Don’t believe me? Just look at the new trailer for the evidence.
Vaguely humanoid shape? Check.
Guns? Check.
Lots of identikit bad guys? Check.
Red eyes? Check.
Am I actually going mad here, or has the hype around Killzone 2 come to such a head that I am seeing it in the most ridiculous places?
Please, someone, ANYONE; tell me I’m not going nuts…

Haven’t seen the trailer yet.
I will say though that square enix may not be lazy with character development,but they are disloyal and fucked up in their general decissions not just their somewhat mad hatter releases schedule.
You should check it out – if for no other reason than to help me re-affirm my sanity.
But yeah – Sqeenix need to get back on the ol’ Wagon. Big itime.

well, I guess the peeling life jackets was a sign… that and trying to feed bread to helicopters.
Not only do I see the Helghast, I also see a fleet of Nebuchadnezzar look-alike ships floating around everywhere.
Are we saying that FFXIII is nothing more than a melange of a bunch of gaming and video icons?
Is that good or bad?
