First Street Fighter IV DLC Details Emerge…From Japan

Submitted by on Thursday, 5 February 20093 Comments

street_fighter_iv_logo-320x200Capcom have announced their plans for Street Fighter IV downloadable content in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.   The content will be released January 12th in Japan and continue with weekly release for a month.  The DLC has been confirmed for the Japanese PS Store only but we expect that the North American and European offerings will be very, very similar.

Get on with the content already?  Ok, if you insist.

It appears that GameStop was right on the money when they announced five downloadable costumes as the bonus DLC for North America, because that is exactly what Japan is getting.  A total of 25 downloadable costumes, one for each character, divided in packs of five going for 400 yen each or 1200 yen for the all-in-one pack.  Was this the ‘secret downloadable content’ Capcom was teasing us about?  What do you think?
