Killzone demo multiplayer?

Submitted by on Thursday, 5 February 20092 Comments

Killzone 2Today we get our grubby little mitts on the oh-so-coveted Killzone 2 demo. But what on earth does it contain?

Seems that there are some quarters adamant that it has no multiplayer aspect, whilst others are stating that there is a multiplayer part of the game.

Confused? Join the club.

Ok, so after some digging about it turns out that it wasn’t all that confusing. Someone somewhere got their wires crossed, and thought that the demo out tomorrow was going to be multi- as well as singleplayer. This is not the case.

What the demo will contain is the first half of the ‘Corinth River’ level. No more. You can choose to have tutorial pop-ups on or off.

But do we really want any more of this game in advance of the release date? Are we not wading neck-deep in hype and advertising already?

We were so dearly hoping to find that we would be able to kick some online ass with that demo, but it seems that this pipe dream will have to wait until later on this month.

…We’re off to work on the time machine some more. Right now it’s just a wheelchair with some bright colours attached…
