Kojima Keynotes at Game Dev Conference

Submitted by on Wednesday, 11 February 20093 Comments

hideoWord has filtered through the grape vine that Kojima-san is all set to give a keynote at the Game Developers Conference in March, with word spreading that there are to be details released about a new project he is currently working on.

As one of the industry’s most iconic luminaries, it is little surprise that everyone is looking forward to hearing what the legendary Hideo Kojima has to say, particularly given the title of the address: “Solid Game Design: Making the ‘Impossible’ Possible”.

We suspect he will be talking about Metal Gear, then. Just a hunch.

Meggan Scavio, event director of the GDC, had this to say:

“The Game Developers Conference has invited Hideo Kojima to keynote every year for as long as I can remember, so we couldn’t be more excited that, at long last, he feels that it is time for him to address the game development community. The anticipation is already huge to see how one of the community’s most revered and elusive creators will inspire attendees to further push the limits of game development.”

The GDC will take place March 23-27, 2009, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
