Blu-ray is of course unique for the PS3 in the console market.

With the PS3 having the ability to play high-def movies and games, why don’t Sony combine the two onto a single disc?

Well that’s what Sony have decided to do! The plan is to start selling Blu-ray discs with both the movie and game by the end of this year.

Not only that, but the Portable Copy feature that was announced way back at CES 08 is also said to finally be making a appearance.

Sony further underlined their efforts to educate people about the features of the console:

We really need to elevate that point, that [rival players] don’t match up dollar to dollar, feature to feature with the PS3.
