The good folks over at PlayStation.Blog have given us an update on the upcoming PSN exclusive title, The Punisher: No Mercy. Aside from the six awesome looking screenshots just released, they have given us a Spring release date.
Gamers will get the chance to play as the popular vigilante as well as your favorite friends and enemies including Barracuda, Bushwacker, Jigsaw and Silver Sable. Prepare yourself for some destruction and mayhem when the game hits this Spring…
We are in Paradise. The Ultimate Bundle of Burnout Paradise may be one the the best deals you’ll see all year. But the real heartbreaker this week is the cold hard truth that love not only hurts, it costs money. $2.99 to be exact. The LittleBigPlanet Valentine’s Day Mini-Pack is breaking fan’s hearts everywhere; and not in a good way.

The latest Home 1.10 update, which brings fixes and improvements like faster boot time and avatar graphics loading, has been unfortunately delayed. SCEA Home manager CydoniaX confirms however that the update will go live on Friday afternoon instead.
If you have been eagly waiting for the 1.60 patch for Burnout Paradise, then you will be happy to hear it has gone live.
The update weighs in at around 254MB which is quite big compared to the average size of an update for a game.
Not too long ago, just a few hours to be exact, we brought you news that Street Fighter IV would be getting alternate costumes in Japan. Well we now know that those same costumes will be hitting North American shores in packs of five as well, beginning February 17th for $3.99 each.
What we didn’t know then is that more DLC is on its way. Announced today is Championship Mode, an expansion pack which will add new and unique gameplay options to the game. Oh, and did I mention that it will be available free of charge?
As promised yesterday, SCEA have updated Home fans with what is to come for a certain online service that hasn’t been overly popular with everyone since it debuted last year.
Remember though, it’s still in beta.
With all this press with still 3 weeks to go before the game arrives, it’s no wonder Killzone 2 is selling well.
However what is surprising is an interview in the Guardian with David Reeves from SCEE who confirmed that European pre-orders had surpassed 1.1 million.

Valentines Day is fast approaching us and those of us who don’t have the pleasure of having that significant other to be with will have to settle for SackBoy or SackGirl instead. The folks over at PlayStation.Blog have announced the Valentines Day Theme Pack along with a special costume, the McLovin SackBoy. Personally, I’d love to spend Valentines Day with the little guy, they are just so cute.
This isn’t as much an exciting update as we would like it to be but it’s an improvement nonetheless. The newest feature being added is the “Remove Player” function which allows the creator to remove players from a Game Launching session. Talk about being in control. So you bought the collector’s edition of Resistance 2 only to covet the regular edition’s cover art. Or maybe you picked the standard edition and quietly loathe the fact that the higher priced collector’s edition has the cooler box art. Capcom have announced their plans for Street Fighter IV downloadable content in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. The content will be released January 12 in Japan and continue with weekly release for a month. The DLC has been confirmed for the Japanese PS Store only but we expect that the North American and European offerings will be very, very similar.

It’s a good thing that we finally got around to mentioning 3 on 3 NHL Arcade in our Forgotten Trove as it’s about to hit real soon. And by soon, we mean tomorrow. Hockey fans can rejoice as there will finally be an arcade version of the game on the market from tomorrow.

Oft rumoured sequel Red Dead Revolver 2 has finally been paraded to the public and gee whizzickers, it’s picked up a new name while Out West. Red Dead Redemption will be released on the PS3 this Fall.
