genesis Retro Enough For You? Sonics Ultimate Genesis CollectionSega are feeling a bit nostalgic too, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection is coming at you like an azure erinaceinae February 10th.  Known as SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection and releasing 20 February in Europe, this stockpile of classics from the golden age of videogames may very well have one or two of your favorite SEGA franchises (Sonic anyone?).

Take a look at the 40+ game list and at some colorful screenshots to refresh your memory.  We may go as far back as 1980, bring your members only jacket.

Featuring the best first-party games from SEGA’s respected 16-bit Mega Drive years, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection is easily a must-have for any SEGA enthusiast.  Even if you don’t have a little blue mammal with red shoes tattooed somewhere in your body, you will get a chance to relive fond memories from more than 40 classic games in one package; including bonus content from SEGA’s 8-bit Master System and 1980’s arcade era games library.  Surely there are at least one or two games you can’t wait to enjoy again in your PS3.

Developed by Backbone Entertainment, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection is the largest collection of SEGA first party games ever offered. Ever.  Trust us on this one, we checked:
