Bioshock 2 to have a simultaneous release
PS3 gamers have had to wait till the end of 2008 before award-winning Bioshock was ported over to Sony’s console.
Very little is currently known about the sequel, however, there are some new clues on Bioshock 2′s website.
But, today when talking to CVG, 2K Games revealed that this time around, the sequel will have a simultaneous release across all 3 platforms, including the PS3.
This will come as a relief to many gamers who do not want to sit around waiting for a port, despite the impressive lineup of games this year. They also confirmed that details of the new multiplayer mode for the series will be revealed “soon enough”.
We are very happy that our chance to play Bioshock 2 shouldn’t be too far away, with an expected release at the end of 2009.
The inclusion of multiplayer is also intriguing as the mode was absent from the first game, and so we look forward to seeing how 2K implement it into the title.
