Capcom PSOne games on the way to the PS Store
It is common knowledge that the PlayStation Stores in Europe and North America lack many PSOne games.
For a company who made their landmark PS2 compatible with nearly every single PlayStation game, it’s surprising that Sony appear to be making little progress in delivering classic titles to the PlayStation Network.
Now, this is where Capcom step in. Sven, a moderator on Capcom’s website, has announced that the first batch of PSOne titles from Capcom have been submitted to Sony for their approval process.
However, he can’t announce when these titles will reach customers, or what the games are. Here is what he said in his own words:
The first PS1 titles for PSN were submitted last week… when I have some dates for them, we’ll let you know what and when is going to happen.
So for now, there you have it. The approval process can take some time so don’t expect to see any of their games arrive this month or even the start of April.
However, we are delighted that a third-party developer as big as Capcom is starting to pump out their classic games. We hope the wait isn’t too long before we can start playing.Â
So what Capcom games would you most like to see on the PlayStation Store?
