killzone 2 boxart Ex Guerrilla talks narrative with GamezineOur good friends over at Gamezine have a mammoth interview coming up next week with ex-Guerrilla Games employee and Killzone 2 screenwriter Iain Howe.

In preparation for the full article, Gamezine have released a teaser today for your delectation.

Whilst the short version offers some keen insight into whether it is truly possible to tell a story through gaming medium, the full interview promises much more insight.

Patrick Steen of Gamezine told us “Myself and Iain enter into an in-depth discussion over the successes and failures of video game narratives, if cut-scenes are counteractive to the gameplay experience and whether a truly interactive and dynamic storyline is possible.”
