GDC09; No new Kojima-san game annoucement. Wait for E3.

I'm saying NOTHING.What do you do after you’ve just walked off with a lifetime achievement award and are about to deliver the GDC key-note speech?

Whatever the hell you goddamn please it seems as word has reached us today via Eurogamer that Foxhound commander-in-chief Hideo Kojima will not be divulging what his new game is at this year’s GDC.

If you’re eagerly anticipating the Japanese auteur’s next offering, you’ll just have to wait for the upcoming revamped E3.

From Eurogamer:

“I’m not going to be talking about new titles or anything,” Kojima told 1UP. Speaking to IGN, he went further, saying: “An official game announcement will be made at E3.”

With no big reveal on the cards, just what is Kojima-san planning on talking about? Love? On the battlefield? Blooming perhaps?

No, ever the educator, the title of Kojima-san’s talk is “Solid Game Design: Making the ‘Impossible’ Possible” so expect him to wax lyrical about just how great he is and how he “[conquered] various development obstacles with creative game design, using the driving game design philosophies behind the Metal Gear series as reference.”

We’d prefer if he just owned up and confirmed that he’s at least co-director of MGS5 along side Kenichiro Imaizumi.

Or, you know, Zone of the Enders 3 would be nice. Whatever.
