Noby Noby daydreams of offline multi-player, custom music and haircuts?
Noby Noby Boy, Keita Takahashi-san’s surreal creation (or what happens when you mix equal parts creative genius with psychotropic mood altering substances) has been gaining speed over the last few weeks since its debut on the scene.
Though BOY’s esurient consuming has not helped GIRL to reach Mars just yet, this hasn’t stopped people from playing the bizarre game or the creators dreaming up new and inventive ways to expand the Nobi universe.
Over at the official site (advance warning, it’s as surreal as the game and most of it is in Japanese), we’re presented with Noby’s three current daydreams. Apparently, unlike most boys, Noby isn’t dreaming about sports, girls and fast cars but wishes for “offline multi-boy play”, different music in the form of clarinets and triangles and, just to make sure the game stays on top in the weird-o-meter stakes, different hair-styles.
While the first revery suggests a new game mode, we can only assume that the latter two relates to user customisation.
Let’s face it though, when it comes to Noby Noby Boy, all bets are off.
