Resident Evil 5 DLC “on track” for Europe

Submitted by on Tuesday, 24 March 2009No Comment

image-thumb249Capcom has reassured gamers that the DLC, which introduces “Versus Mode” to the popular title, is still “on track” and there is no risk of it getting delayed in Europe.

Just yesterday, the unfortunate news for people in Japan was that the content had been delayed for that region.

A company rep spoke to CVG, and stuck to the company’s previous stance that the multiplayer mode would release on the PlayStation Store “a few weeks after release” of the game.

The new addition to RE5 allows up to four players to battle through two different game types. It will cost European gamers a total of £3.99 in the UK, or €4.99 everywhere else in Europe. The DLC will also cost $5 for North America.

We have already shared our views on DLC so soon after game releases, but the new mode certainly does interest us as we are great fans of playing in multiplayer.
