Riddick is late … but he’s still coming …

His name's down. He's coming in. Whether you like it or not.Though some titles seem to have jumped the gun and arrived early, there are others that appear to be egregiously missing in action.

In this case, the content in question is the demo for Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.

Though popping up on XBL today, the gravel-voiced musclar one appears to have missed his cue for some PSN action.

Never fear however as the demo is still coming. Check after the break for some more (albeit nebulous) details.

Speaking to VG247, an Atari rep confirmed the absence of Riddick’s new demo on the PSN but promised that the early sample of the game will be coming “soon”.

We checked the press release ourselves and, true to their word, Atari have simply updated us on the situation by stating:

“The PS3 demo will be available on PLAYSTATION├é┬« Network in March.”

So, sometime in the next 27 days then.

The full game, which is a HD remake of cult favourite last-gen Escape From Butcher Bay and a whole new story, is set for release on April 7th in North America and April 24th in Europe.
