Rorschach Arrives a Day Early – Still Wants All of Your Money

Submitted by on Wednesday, 4 March 20095 Comments

"I'm early. So what? Pay me."With the movie arriving this weekend, we were wondering just how the release details for Watchmen prequel “The End is Nigh” on the PSN would pan out.

After all, historically we get our new content during a very narrow window known around these parts as “PSN Thursday”, and with the PC and 360 version of the game hitting today, could waiting until tomorrow potentially derail the Watchmen hype-train for PS3 fans?

We weren’t the only ones who postulated this very theory it seems as, right now, Watchmen is on the (EU) PlayStation Store waiting for you to pick up and enjoy.

Check after the Nite Owl inspired jump for more details.

Of course this is not the first time a game has shunned the “Thursday only” release schedule but it’s nice to see that, with the timing of the game’s digital release vitally important considering the weekend in question, we won’t have to get it a day after everyone else.

As mentioned yesterday, Watchmen: The End is Nigh is priced somewhat lavishly at $19.99. We now have the European prices with the episodic prequel appearing with price tags of €14.99 and £12.99 respectively.

What say you oh super-hero game lovin’ aficionados? Still too rich for your blood?
