singstarps3 spotlight Singstar Trophies revealed, includes Home RewardsSony are continuing to go back to some of their most popular first-party titles and adding support for trophies, with the next game being Singstar.

PlayStation Universe has published a list of trophies that Singstar will be receiving at an unknown time in the future.

However, not only do we know what the trophies are and their values, some more interesting information was revealed in the form of PlayStation Home rewards.

If you unlock one of the four trophies that support the feature, you will find a new item available to you in the virtual world of Home. Home rewards are already supported in Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV.

Unfortunately, no details are given on what the items are, for example if they are apartment objects or clothing, but we will no doubt find out soon enough.

Do we have many Singstar fans reading?

One reward should surely be a jukebox?

Why doesnt EU get the same spaces as the US have?

Simply put, each region absolutely has to have their own local marketing arrangements. This doesn’t only benefit Sony, but the marketing partners also.

No US company is going to want to advertise in Europe, and vice versa. Even a global organisation has different marketing people and ideas for each region, since every market is different.

So having different regions makes Home more attractive to advertisers and partners, which benefits us all in the long run. Whilst Home is still a little sparse, it seems like a pain, but when it really gets going we’ll actually be better off because of the regionalisation.

@Nick, Dolph is correct it has to do with the marketing arrangements. However, if you have friends in other Home regions they can always invite you over. It’s not the same as being able get there on your own, but at least it’s possible.

Home rewards in games are kinda cool – I think Home as a slow burner is starting to come good….
