In case you’re too busy playing Street Fighter IV, we’re here to let you know that another fighter has entered the ring! The King of Fighters XII in all its 2D glory, and trust us, there’s a lot of it, will be making its way to the PlayStation 3 this summer.

Although not quite an official release date, the latest trailer states that the game will be coming during the summer to fans in North America. No word on when our European friends will be able to play but we imagine it would be around the same time.

It’s amazing to think that everything, from the fighters to the backgrounds, is hand drawn. The trailer is looking fantastic and it captures the essence of what the game is all about; the action. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments section…
