download unlockablepsml UK PS3 charts: Oi, get Killzoned alreadyAt last, after nearly half a decade of development, Killzone 2 finally hit the shelves! 2009 is becoming more and more interesting day by day, as new awaited titles become available. If some thought 2008 was one of the best years for the videogames industry, just wait and see what 2009 has in store for us. Anyway, back on topic. With all these great games out on sale, someone might wonder if Killzone 2 will manage to stand out.

Let’s find out if Killzone 2 reached the top, in Chart Track’s UK charts for week ending 28 February 2009…

1. Killzone 2 (Sony Computer Ent.)

2. Street Fighter IV (Capcom)

3. Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (SEGA)

4. Silent Hill: Homecoming (Konami)

5. FIFA 09 (Electronic Arts)

6. Call of Duty: World at War (Activision Blizzard)

7. LittleBIGPlanet (Sony Computer Ent.)

8. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision Blizzard)

9. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (THQ)

10. Grand Theft Auto IV (Take 2)

Ok, you all knew Killzone 2 was gonna be first, didn’t you? Guerrila Games gave us a masterpiece, there’s no doubt about it. Killzone 2  is that good, that even the members of the team who aren’t into First Persons Shooters praise it (daily). Something tells us that it’s going to remain first for weeks to come.

Last week’s winner is now second, which is a good thing, considering beat-em-ups aren’t as popular as FPS titles. Let’s just hope Street Fighter IV keeps selling copies.

In the fourth place we find a new entrant. Silent Hill: Homecoming – finally – made its debut in Europe and despite the average review scores, it’s doing pretty good.

LittleBigPlanet fell to the 7th place, but after this rather interesting price drop, we’re pretty sure sales will rise. Finally, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand climbed one place since last week. Ok, it is time to take back last week’s “bad” comments about Fifty’s BotS. It’s silly, but really fun; word (as 50 would say).
