Trophies are a very popular feature on the PS3 as you no doubt realise. Currently, you can only access trophies on the system itself, which is a good start, however, this is about to change for users using the North American PlayStation.com website.
Rolling out on Tuesday, Sony are updating the US PlayStation site to support trophies so you can your view level count, see which ones you have unlocked, and which ones are still up for grabs.
On the PlayStation.Blog, there is a video for all to enjoy which shows you a little bit of what to expect. Unfortunately, still no trophies for the Portable IDs.
We just hope SCEE are quick to follow suit on the European sister site. No pressure Sony!

So I guess we should expect something for Europe to in the near future.
“2399 … a distant and bleak future … As the remnants of mankind struggle to survive in a land tortured by a once life-giving star about to go supernova … SCEE announce that you can now check your trophies online.”
We’re joking of course … we’re sure this feature will be Europe-bound sometime in the near future. Before the polar caps have melted at least.
Actually, you can log in to the US site using your PSN credentials and it works right now.
I’m able to see all my trophies as well as the other features they had already launched, such as the Friends list.
In fact, I can see that Danny_D is actually playing Killzone 2 right now…
surely a start for SCEE would be a website? let alone all the features that the PSBlog has
Wow thats nice.Maybe they will make it good enough to replace playfire at least up to one point.
