Midway and Ubisoft today announced that Wheelman has gone gold. The game is due out in Europe on March 27th, or 3 days earlier on March 24th in North America. 

Wheelman is an action and adventure open-world game centred in Barcelona. The game is based around an undercover agent and skilled driver who jumps into the criminal underworld to gain intelligence on a heist. 

The game which has been developed by Midway studios in Newcastle is also set to have a sequel in the form of a film to be released this year, and starring Vin Diesel.
