GamesAid profit from PS3 Attitude; team expanding

Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

PS3 Attitude - white 400PS3 Attitude has today handed over its entire operating profit to games industry charity GamesAid.

Because our running costs are funded privately, it means that every ounce of revenue generated through advertising, click-throughs and affiliate sales is pure profit – all of which is donated to the video game industry charity…

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our writers, readers, friends, followers and supporters for making this possible.

GamesAid distributes funds to a diverse range of charities; it is a means of giving something back on behalf of the industry. It acts as a broker of charitable activity on behalf of the industry, taking advice from all sectors.

“This donation is just the beginning for our 2009 plans, which include the expansion of the PS3 Attitude team and a number of charity events. Our goal is to increase our audience and revenues in order to donate even more to charity.” – Brodiesan, Assistant Editor at PS3 Attitude.

“We’re delighted that the PS3 Attitude team has decided to support GamesAid this year. Their selfless approach to running the website will result in many disadvantaged young people given opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have had.” – Rupert Loman, Trustee at GamesAid.

Not wanting to rest on any laurels, PS3 Attitude has decided that now is the best time to further expand the team and help generate greater profits for GamesAid in the future.

So we’re sending out a Call for Duty – a request for more volunteers to help drive the website upwards and onwards.
