Home v1.20 delayed due to “serious bug”

Submitted by on Monday, 6 April 20095 Comments

playstation-home-bubblesTedTheDog, Home Community Manager from the Official European PlayStation Forums, has informed gamers that Home update version 1.20 will be delayed.

On Thursday we informed you that the update for PlayStation Home was due this Thursday, however, you may have to wait around two weeks before it lands onto PS3s worldwide.

A serious bug was found during testing, which means that it will have to be fixed and then go through testing all over again.

He states:

Just had word that 1.20 has a serious bug that means its not going to arrive this week. Probably a couple of weeks away now, after it’s been fixed and retested. Will confirm as soon as I can.

No doubt this will disappoint those of you who were looking forward to the update, which was due to have its patch notes revealed later this week.

Luckily for those of you in Europe, there are still two new stores to dive into this week from Thursday.
