Those guys at Guerilla Games are always pumping out patches for Killzone 2. No, we’re not complaining, in fact, we’re celebrating because they have just released patch notes for v1.24!

So what more awesomeness could they possible pack into to the game? First off, it enables you to play the game with every single new Japanese gamer that will be jumping online when the games releases in Japan on the 23rd of April.

Secondly, just in case some of you have already up the ranks to the title of ‘General’, they are generously adding three additional ‘Hardcore’ ranks to make you work even harder!

Finally, the 57MB update also adds compatibility with the Steel and Titanium DLC pack due out on April 30th. So remember; set your alarms for 8am GMT on the 22nd of April to be one of the first to tuck in to update. We’ll see you online!
