What is more fun than playing in a pretend rock band with a bunch of your friends? How about playing in a pretend LEGO rock band with a bunch of your friends?

In conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games, Harmonix and MTV Games are merging the two popular franchises of LEGO and Rock Band to create a new rock experience.

The game is said to combine the multiplayer music experience of Rock Band with the quirky customization of LEGO. Of course, this version is going to be geared towards younger audiences. Here’s just a few of the songs that are going to be included:

• Blur:  “Song 2”
• Carl Douglas: “Kung Fu Fighting”
• Europe:  ”The Final Countdown”
• Good Charlotte: “Boys and Girls”
• Pink: “So What”

Players will be able to fully customize their personal minifigures and everything else in between. The game will be hitting store shelves just in time for the holidays.
