eden encore More Pixel For Your Junk Eden Encore Is Coming UPDATEDThe gardens, the grimps, the broken controllers and the holes in the wall.  It seems it was just yesterday when we tried to get all seeds in garden 07 only to get all broken DualShock 3′s instead.  Sadly, there is no trophy for that.  However, there will be new trophies, gardens, music and graphics in the latest Encore by one of our favorite (favourite too) indie developers.

If the official Japanese PixelJunk website is to be believed (and it should), the latest expansion pack for Encore is coming to Eden this Thursday April 16th (or 16th April) for Japan, North America and Europe.  Asia will get their “Encore on” the next day on April 17th.

Baiyon is back!  Graphics and music from the talented Japanese artist are still a part of Eden and we wouldn’t have it any other way.  Seriously.  Any mortal who has played Eden can attest that this game is not only about the quirky gameplay, but about the amazing aural and visual experience.  Even if it sometimes makes you yell obscenities at the screen in front of your pets and loved ones.  But that was addressed by patch 2.0 which is required for the Encore add-on.

Have you experienced Eden?  Most of us have, and we are looking forward to what Encore brings to our Eden.  Are you?

UPDATE

Our good friends at the PlayStation Blog have the skinny on the U.S. price for this Encore, $5.99.  An easter egg also made it into the expansion pack (that bunny will haunt our dreams) and the fourth PixelJunk game is hinted to be “really unique and a lot of fun – and very pretty to look at”.  Oh boy.
