Music videos coming to a European PS3 near you

vidzoneWe’ve mentioned Vidzone, the free music video service coming to the PS3, in the past but there hasn’t been much of an update as to if this feature was even still in development…until now. The official UK Playstation website has updated to included news regarding this free application.

UK subscribers will be able to watch thousands of music videos on their PS3 or even PSP via Remote Play. Simply download the app from the PlayStation Store and look under the Music section of the XMB for the icon and you’re ready to go.

In addition to watching videos, you can create and save personal playlists, perfect for any social gathering. The videos are streamed so there is no need to wait for downloading and you can pause, rewind, and fast forward to get to the part you want to watch.

With regular updates scheduled for the future, Vidzone is looking to be the place to get you music fix when you want to watch little men in jester costumes dance. Still no word on a release date but at least we know it is coming.
