Possible Teaser Site for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Remake?

Today, a mysterious countdown site has gone live. We know, we know, countdown sites are quite boring and usually build unnecessary hype. But come on, this is Marvel vs. Capcom 2 we’re talking about, one of the greatest fighters to grace the PS2.

How do we know this you ask? Well, let’s take a look at the facts…

Valkyria Chronicles Rocks The US, Rules Japan

Talk about a comeback story. After less than optimal global sales for the stellar looking (and stellar playing) Valkyria Chronicles we received great news from the SEGA America Blog. Thanks to all the hard work from the hardcore fans (this humble PS3A cast included), and last week’s DLC release, Valkyria Chronicles is now one the top PS3 games both the United States and Japan.
But how big of an impact could a five month old game have on the American and Japanese markets?

U.S. PSN Video Content For April 17th – Yes Man, We’re Three Days Late

Depending on where you are reading from (or when for that matter), we may be four days late. Never mind that, just say ‘yes’ like the rest of the U.S. did to Jim Carrey’s Yes Man. Dethroning Zack and Miri Make a (very good) Porno is the man who says ‘yes’ to everything. Good thing he doesn’t work in this writer’s office. Them co-workers is brutal.

Fight Night Round 4 Has Some Style

Boxing fans best prepare themselves for EAs Fight Night Round 4 as you watch this beautiful video of the different styles available in the game. See mens faces crumble under the force of a mean right hook or uppercut. Watch as champions are lifted, hands held high. This is what boxing’s all about…

SingStar Global Patch Adds The Kitchen Sink

Do you love SingStar as much as the next guy, provided that the next guy is not this guy? Because we don’t think anybody likes SingStar as much as this guy; not after this. If you do like SingStar at least as half as him (who shall remain nameless) we have some great news for you. SingStar received a global patch today that brings some features that our Europeans brethren already had and then some.

“No plans” for PS3 Bionic Commando demo

Speaking with Capcom this week, Eurogamer have confirmed that, though a demo of up and coming action-swinger Bionic Commando will grace XBL in the coming weeks, there are “no plans” for a PS3 version.

Considering the amount of love Capcom have been showing the PS3 over the last few months, this decision has taken us a little by surprise.

Games Database Redux II – Son of Redux

We’re back with the second part in our two part Games Database “catching up” series. You’ve probably heard of most of the following games scheduled to hit the PS3 over the next year or so.

Then again, there are probably a few titles that will be a complete surprise (they were to us at least).

Winner of many Game of the Year awards, it’s no surprise that the Fallout series will continue on in the hearts and minds of gamers for years to come with more sequels.

We’re not complaining of course as the last game was a bold step (despite its quirks) and we’re looking forward to more post-apocalyptic adventures in the Fallout universe.

Announced today: Fallout: New Vegas.

UFC 2009 demo next week – get those arm-bars ready!

If your idea of a great night out (or in for that matter) is watching two guys beat the living crap out of each other in a weirdly shaped cage that neither can escape from, then you already know that UFC 2009 Undisputed is out next month.

In preparation for this onslaught of triangle holds, rear naked chokes, kimuras, arm-bars and other techniques that hurt as bad as they sound, THQ will be releasing a demo of the game on the PSN on April 23rd.

Japanese End of Eternity trailer translated; robots confirmed

We’re all about the Japanese RPG trailers this week.

Although, admittedly, this one surfaced a few days ago, we just didn’t get the chance to bring it to your attention with all the other exciting news that hit this week – not to mention some new betas that have been sucking our time away.

Better late than never of course and, as recompense for our tardiness, we’ve decided to shed some English light on a very Japanese affair by translating some of the text within the sneak peek.
