PS3 exclusive Atelier Rorona gets some ‘assist’ance
Gust have revealed some details for the upcoming PS3 exclusive RPG, Altelier Rorona.Yes, you heard that correctly; a RPG exclusively on the PS3.
Information regarding the new ‘assist system‘ has surfaced and with it comes a sudden urge to play a RPG. This is supposedly only one of the multiple new features included in the game.
As the name implies, party members will be called to action to either help attack or defend Rorona from enemies. Depending on their friendship level, the power of these assists will vary. Rorona is limited to a specific amount of assists per battle but as the war wages on, they can be replenished.
For those of you who aren’t aware, Gust are responsible for games such as Mana-Khemia and Ar Tonelico. We can only hope that their first venture on the PS3 is as successful as them. The game is set for June 25th release in Japan. No word on when or if it will reach other territories, but hey, that’s what importing is for, right? That is, if you can understand Japanese of course.
