Sacred 2: Fallen Angel goes gold

sacred2logoSacred 2: Fallen Angel is an action-RPG developed by Ascaron and published by cdv Software Entertainment.

Today it was announced that the game has now gone gold for the PS3 system. It takes place 2000 years before the first game that was released for Windows back in 2004.

This title is due for release initially in North America on May 12th, followed later by a European release on the 5th of June.

The game has a combination of two campaign modes and includes online multiplayer in the form of co-op modes.

Just this month the developers went into administration so it’s surprising that the game is getting a console release at all.

The PC edition which released in late 2008 received decent reviews with IGN giving it a 7.5/10, so it will be interesting to see how well it fairs from the jump onto the PS3.
