If your idea of a great night out (or in for that matter) is watching two guys beat the living crap out of each other in a weirdly shaped cage that neither can escape from, then you already know that UFC 2009 Undisputed is out next month.

In preparation for this onslaught of triangle holds, rear naked chokes, kimuras, arm-bars and other techniques that hurt as bad as they sound, THQ will be releasing a demo of the game on the PSN on April 23rd.

Details of the bite sized smack-simulator surfaced over at the UFC Undisputed Community site where the following information was spat out; much liked the teeth of those Tae kwon do guys who go up against those huge dudes that look like shaved bears.

The demo will be available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network next week on Thursday, April 23. You’ll be able to play as either Chuck “Iceman” Liddell or Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, who will be competing against each other during UFC 97 Redemption on Saturday.

That’s last Saturday by the way so by now you should know that the Iceman slipped up and got schooled by Rua. Next Thursday, however, you get the chance to rewrite history and square the two fighters against each other once again in an exhibition match. You better not make Chuck lose again. Chuck doesn’t like it when he loses.
