Wipeout HD v1.30 racing to a console near you
One of the best PSN games out there, Wipeout HD, will be getting an update on April 8th as in tomorrow.
The features included in v1.30 are primarily addressed towards multiplayer and will make setting up online races easier than ever.
Included in the update is the chance to earn 33 different online badges, game invites, and a new Spectator mode where you can watch races from the sidelines. In addition, the top three finishers will be treated to a special podium display. Talk about ultimate bragging rights.
Players will also have the ability to to set up games using a variety of options.
- HUD Weapon Hints
- Opponents – Public, Friends, or Invite Only
- Barrel Rolls
- Pilot Assist Allowed
- Number of Laps (max 20)
This is looking to be quite a sizable update. We wonder what type of badges we can earn and if they have any special rewards associated with them such as increased boosts or weapons It sure gets us in the mood for some high velocity racing. We’ll see you on the tracks.
