uncharted2 Worst kept secret confirmed: Uncharted 2 Multiplayer detailed. Now with video! UPDATEDWe hinted about it. In fact, we knew about it, but we didn’t spill the beans until the guys over at Naughty Dog were prepared to do so first. That’s just how we roll here at PS3 Attitude.

Now that Evan Wells, Co-President at Naughty Dog, is blabbering uncontrollably about it, well – so will we.

Just like Resistance 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will have both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. As the embargo is now lifted, expect to see more and more news about this exciting aspect of the Uncharted sequel appear all over the interweb in a matter of days.

Speaking over at the official blog, Evan goes on to reveal how new Dogs have been joining the team at a rapid rate in order to bring multiplayer to the world of Uncharted. Confirming what we kinda already knew thanks to the numerous leaks, the beta of this new mode will start on June 3rd and is accessible by picking up a copy of inFamous (through vouchers). As if you needed an excuse for picking up Sucker Punch’s sandbox action title in the first place.

Check out some Uncharted 2 multiplayer action!

Update: for the Europeans out there wondering how this affects them – Naughty Dog will not leave you out in the cold and there are plans in play for a Euro beta. Evan has also confirmed in the comments section of his original blog post that there will be a party system and it is, in fact, “already in and working great!”
