FUEL is big, really big
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
What is bigger than Hong Kong, Singapore, St Lucia and the Isle of Man put together.
Before you start thinking this is the latest punchline from MTV’s Yo Momma, we’ll put you straight.
This is the World Record breaking size of the game area in FUEL.
The accolade, presented to FUEL developers Asobo Studio, was confirmed by Guinness World Records, who have verified the record for inclusion in the next Guinness World Records Gamers Edition of the best-selling guide.
Covering an incredible 5,560 square miles, the official entry in the record books tells us the largest playable area in a console game features ‘area features rivers, deserts, forests and mountains’.
To put it into perspective, if players choose to drive from one side of the map to the other, it will take over 3 hours straight.
FUEL hits stores around July 5th, and will cost you considerably less than the petrol/diesel you’d need to buy to cover that distance in real life.

"Dedication. Dedication. Dedication's what you need"

I quite like the look of this game. It seems to have elements of Burnout Paradise and Motorstorm. If it can nail the combination in such a massive environment then what not to like?
Hmmm, haven’t really been interested in this game…until now. That’s quite a big environment they have.
freakin cool man, i dont see how this game can fail with a map so big lol
