Prepare for a mega US Home update tomorrow
Locust_Star from the US team has kindly landed on the PlayStation Blog to update gamers with what is to come in their “enormous” update.
Right now we have heard nothing from the European camp on what to expect tomorrow apart from the release of at least one new apartment.Â
But we’re talking about the North American update right now, so here is what’s new…
A Siren: Blood Curse space has been on the Japanese Home for some time now, so it’s only right that other places around the world should get treated to the horrors of this game while doing the Running Man.
Here is how he describes it:
The Siren Home space is broken up into three basic zones. When you first enter the Siren space, you’re outside the Ward of Despair, in what looks like an old, rundown carnival space. The entrance to the Ward is just a few steps away. Upon entering it, you’ll find yourself in the mini-game’s lobby. Inside you’ll see video screens on the walls and places to sit and mingle with other players waiting their turn to enter the Ward of Despair mini game.
Some people would be happy with just that, but not SCEA. There is more on offer in the update tomorrow.
An exclusive behind-the-scenes video diary on the developers of Fat Princess will be debuting in the Home Theatre for one week only.
But biggest of all are the two new premium apartments; A Log-cabin and the Living Room Stage Set room we’ve mentioned already.
First of all, we have done our research and the Log-cabin should look something like this above. We seem to remember Phil Harrison back in his PlayStation days demonstrating this space as E3 2007.
But most importantly is the Stage Set space that will be cost you just $4.99 and offers a decent range of customisation options light interactive lighting, backdrops, camera angles and more. A new trailer is ready for you to see on the blog post right now.
Finally there will be some Tekken costumes and figurines, and fourteen Killzone 2 shirts in the Shopping Mall. And don’t forget the Patapon shirts arriving in the Threads store too.
Don’t forget to catch our weekly Homerun tomorrow for a run-through of the goings on in PlayStation Home in Europe and North America.
