Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut coming to PSN
Already two years since the PlayStation Network opened and there is still a clear lack of downloadable original PlayStation games on offer.
Going some way towards rectifying this situation, five PSOne titles have recently been rated by the ESRB, the entertainment rating board for North America, and two of them certainly stand out.
Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut have been reviewed by the group for release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
This means that those of you who live in the region will be lucky enough to get the opportunity to have your hands on the games from the PlayStation Store sometime in the future.
It’s great to see Sony are listening and starting to deliver, bringing back the classics from their debut console.
Other games that have also been rated are Spec Ops: Covert Assault, Spec Ops: Ranger Elite and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six.
With no release dates announced just yet, you’ll have to keep your eyes and ears open for news and, as always, we’ll bring it to you as soon as we get it.
What we want to hear from you is what games do you have your fingers crossed for?
We think it’s safe to say Final Fantasy VII will be one of your requests so there is no need to mention that one, but there must be many others…
