lease do not adjust your TV sets PC monitors. The picture you see on this post is not an error of our in-house picture uploading hamsters.
We actually endorse the 1951 movie over the 2008 loose remake. We may go as far as to recommend watching a plastic bag twirling in the wind over last week’s number one PSN movie. At least there is a chance the bag may do something unexpected.
This Thursday we have a bumper package of LittleBigPlanet DLC crawling out of the bowels of the PSN. But this is no normal DLC. We are getting the first of a new type of pack this week – one which will add to the current DLC canon, as well as provide far better value for money. But what exactly makes this particular content pack so special?
To celebrate the ensnaring of 1,000,000 registered players for what’s known around these parts as “world’s shortest beta”, Sony are gifting each and every one of the million Free Realms’ registrants with a free in-game commemorative t-shirt.
But that’s not all, they’re also decking your pets out in new duds and, a firm fan favourite, giving away free money, too!
If you spent the majority of your time with Red Faction’s single-player demo back in April thinking: “This is all well and good but I need to smack people I know in the face with my hammer”, apart from being someone we hope is now seeking psychological evaluation, you appear to be in luck.
THQ’s CEO Brian Farrell has confirmed to VG247 that a multiplayer demo of the martian mayhem romp will be in your destructive hands before the end of the month.
Today PS3 Attitude is pleased to announce that not only will we actually be at E3 2009, but we’re also hosting our own charity shindig.
Yes, this is your chance to meet us in person in Los Angeles and have a drink with us and our friends and contacts from the video game industry.
And if that wasn’t enough, as well as helping us raise some serious cash for our Charity Fund, you’ll get the chance to win some cool prizes too.
We have to hold our hands up and say, we didn’t come up with that headline – sometimes they just write themselves. In fact, it’s the very title of the video over at GameTrailers and …
The Dynasty Warriors series continues ever onward with news that the latest edition in the popular strategy romp, Empires (an expansion to number six, if you’re counting) will see a release on the PS3 at the end of next month.
Introducing something of a seachange this time around, Empires will proffer players the ability to play as both an officer and a scheming ruler.
While the West are yet to experience any MMO PS3 affection, news broke this week that Q Entertainment will expand on their success with Angel Love Online and create a new PC/PS3 MMO entitled Angel Senki.
What better way to console yourself over Batman: Arkham Asylum’s release delay than by checking out some new footage of the Dark Knight himself laying all kinds of retribution fuelled hurt on the cronies of Gotham’s infamous nut-house.
Another week of PS3 Attitude a-Twittering but what a week!
Tuesday saw the inaugural edition of #psfreeattitude where we gave away some free swag … and then promised to do it again next Tuesday. And every Tuesday forever more (or at least until we run out of free stuff to give away).
Capcom have released the best trailer yet for the upcoming Bionic Commando. But there are some strange things you notice if you scrutinize the video. Well, maybe not, but we noticed a few odd likenesses during our first few hundred views.
TedTheDog, Home Manager from the Official European PlayStation forums has released an early news update for next Thursday on PlayStation Home.
The highlight of the update is finally the release of the v1.21 patch that has been delayed several times in the past.
Remember the Killzone 2-Home integration that was announced via the @KillzoneDotCom twitter page? Yeah we thought you did. Well it has been delayed.
Something that is becoming all too familiar for PlayStation Home is the delays and it’s disappointing that the Killzone 2 content has received the same fate.
Well we didn’t spot it in our Homerun yesterday, but it has come out that in the PlayStation Home video we posted from the Official Blog, there is a hidden code for two free hats in the online universe.
When you have the code, you must enter it into ‘Reedeem Codes’ from Account Management or via the PlayStation Store.
Usually OSTs are only available in Japan and anyone else must import them if they want to hear the music of the games they love. Well not any more, for Americans at least. Partnering with Sumthing Else Music Works, Capcom will be releasing soundtracks to our favorite games including Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Bionic Commando, Dead Rising, and Monster Hunter.
No Mega Man or Devil May Cry? Perhaps we’ll see those in the future.
Tony Hawk games have taken somewhat of a beating over the last few years with fans begging for a fresh approach to the franchise and the emergence of the Skate series from EA.
But Activision have plans to return the Birdman to the number one spot by supporting the Far-East’s ability to knock out huge lumps of plastic for very little outlay.
Yes people; this year you’ll be standing on a huge board controller of your own, hoping nobody glances through your living room window as you play Tony Hawk Ride.
Considering End of Eternity is a popular Isaac Asimov novel over here in the West, it’s no surprise to see the upcoming Japanese RPG of the same name go through a change of title for us gaijin.
Developed by famed Star Ocean creators tri-Ace, the newly christened Resonance of Fate is to be published by RPG defenders Sega.
While the multiplayer element is obviously welcomed with open arms, fans of the first Uncharted, patiently waiting for a new Drake adventure, were doing so before the concept of running around shooting your friends as Elena was possible. We just wanted one simple thing: more single-player action.
Sidhe, the creative minds behind GripShift, have revealed their next PSN game due for release later on this year. The new game, titled ‘Shatter’, is billed as a retro take on the block breaking game.
With new effects and modes attached to the retro attitude Sidhe are taking with this game, we are certainly curious to find out more.
Handy really, seeing as there’s a video of the game available for your viewing pleasure!
