From Zen Studios comes the eponymous Zen Pinball, the first pinball title to appear on the PlayStation Network.
Arriving with an initial four tables, with the promise of more via DLC in the future, Zen Studios have overhauled the physics behind the popular retro pastime and are ready to unleash balls and paddles to the masses this month.
THQ officials revealed to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that MMA apparel pioneers, TV stars and cage side fixtures the TapouT crew will be featured as unlockable characters in UFC 2009: Undisputed.
Details about bonus GameStop exclusive characters Ryan Bader and Efrain Escudero were also discussed, so were THQ’s plans for future DLC.
Some say that hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn; but last week’s top movie suggests that a woman’s scorn hath no fury like a pissed of bride. It is a bit refreshing to see a bulky American wrestler and a misogynistic British spy fall under the might of a couple of brides.
Hot off the heels of the impressive ‘Mission Variety’ video comes the opening cinematic for PROTOTYPE. The video showcases the protagonist Alex Mercer showing his acrobatic prowess in the run down and seemingly isolated New York City streets during the day, before showing us the perils that come with the night.
After a week of exclusivity, North America finally gets the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Demo…later today. May’s Qore is here full of ghosts, dirt and psychopaths; sounds like a place we used to work for back in the 90′s.
Become a yearly Qore subscriber on or before May 15th and receive a voucher to join the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves multiplayer beta on June 3rd.
With E3 being less than a month away, expect to see a flutter of press releases coming from every direction. Sony have done us the honor of releasing the list of games they will be bringing to this years convention.
There really are no surprises in what we see. What will surprise us, though, are the secret and juicy games NOT on the list.
inFamous has long been a source of much discussion amongst the crew at Attitude Towers.
The heat was turned up yesterday afternoon when SCEE sent us the inFamous demo. After a longer than usual download thanks to a dodgy wireless router, we fired up the demo for the first time. 56 minutes and 7 seconds later we had the answer to a most burning question; is inFamous shockingly good, or did it fail to spark our imagination?
Probably best known outside of Japan for their Disgaea games, Nippon Ichi Software (or NIS) are hard at work making the natural shift over to the HD era and embracing the PS3.
With the Disgaea, Darkstalkers and Ar Tonelico character mashup Cross Edge finally about to hit in NA and EU, Nippon Ichi have revealed they are also hard at work on two new titles, Trinity Universe and Last Rebellion.
It’s no doubt that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is going to be one heck of a blockbuster this summer. Fast cars, hot women, and huge explosions are the perfect formula for success. The trailer was just released last week and it was awesome. This week, we have the trailer for the upcoming game adaptation and it is just as cool.
Announcing today plans to expand their Hero empire beyond the mere guitar genre, Activision have revealed three (maybe four) new titles to ensnare anybody left on the planet who enjoys pretending to play music but …
The European special edition of inFamous is set to land onto the PS3 on the 29th of May along side the regular edition.
We have now heard details on what is so special about the special edition.
It has been a busy week around the world of Home, and so we have a lot to talk about.
Have a read of our weekly run through of the goings on in the ever expanding world of PlayStation Home.
This is more like it. Leave it to our friends across the pond to bring back meaning to our beloved PS Store update day. The X-Men Origins: Wolverine demo was probably uncaged too early or too late, but it’s there in case you missed it last week.
Savage Moon finally gets a demo after being more than three months out in the wild, The Wheelman gets free and premium dlc, and Trivial Pursuit also grants a free TV pack. Hooray for free content.
At least this update was better than last week’s. Mirroring Japan in painfully scarce content, Hong Kong tries to keep it fresh by offering the Norse Mythology Minipack today.Â
We are not sure what to make of this. The usually bustling Japanese store is almost empty today. If it weren’t for the LittleBigPlanet Egyptian Mythology Pack, it would be a ghost town.
Life with PlayStation®, Sony’s dynamic web based content provider was updated today to 1.1. This update adds a number of features and enhancements, including a brand new channel and an expert mode for Folding@homeâ„¢.
United Village is joining the LIVE and Folding@home channels in what appears to be the first of many new channels to come to Sony’s expanding philanthropic service.
The SCENE expansion pack may have come and gone but we now have news of further updates to the popular online game over at the official PS blog.
Race Mission! will see all players, not just those who picked up SCENE, able to participate in a new mode which we’re going out on a limb and christening “search and protect”.
Ubisoft have announced today that, in the UK at least, the official Assassin’s Creed 2 announcements will arrive via four magazines.
The latest issues of Play, 360, Total PC Gaming and gamesTM include the official UK-exclusive announcements of the forthcoming sequel.
But how can you get your hands on the news right now?
Remember when we told you that we would have the trailer for Red Dead Redemption tomorrow? Well by tomorrow, we actually meant a few hours because the debut trailer is here and it is quite the Western.
Watch as John Marston catches outlaws, jumps across trains, rides horses, and does a bunch of slow motion takes in what can only be described as Grand Theft Auto meets the Wild Wild West.
