Bionic Commando: Rearmed getting updated with trophies
It was actually quite some time ago when we were promised that Bionic Commando: Rearmed for the PSN would be getting trophies. We waited and wait, but to no avail…that is, until now.
Yes, almost a year later, our good friend John Diamonon over at the PlayStation.Blog has announce that Rearmed would be getting a patch real soon. There are also some other enhancements that will be coming with the patch but you’re not interested in those, are you?
Below is all you will see once updated and patched:
New “Normal†difficulty setting. In this setting, the following changes are made:
- When you die, you respawn at the last solid ground or checkpoint
- The level Albatross B was cut
- The ability to reel out the cable when hanging or swinging to its full length
- If the player swings into a wall, they will no longer disconnect and be thrown away from the wall. Instead, they will keep connected and reel in
- Unlimited lives
Super Joe Machine Gun bug fix:
- When upgraded, the weapon also becomes more powerful in addition to the larger clip
- Fixed for all difficulty levels.
Maybe the fact that the game will be somewhat easier after this update might persuade this writer to go back and actually beat it for once. Still, best prepare your swinging arm for some intense Nathan Spencer action! Those trophies are probably going to be much more difficult than simply finishing the game.
