Yeah… um… we read that one twice, too. Even with a month-long adjustment time since the game’s announcement in April, it just doesn’t seem to fit.

MTV Games and Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment are working together with TT Games and Harmonix on this new franchise fusion.

We don’t know all that much about what is planned, but we have a few ideas to go along with the trailer.

For example, how cool would it be to build your own LEGO stages to perform on? Or to have them fall, brick by brick, in a versus battle depending on how well your opponent or you plays?

Obviously, the character customization will be interesting – no doubt you will be able to pull the little arms, hands legs and feet off of the onscreen musicians and replace them with the unique variations LEGO is famous for.

At any rate, we are cautiously curious about this title – as always, it runs the risk of milking the bandwagon (pun intended) that has become the Rock Band/Guitar Hero posse.

We mainly hope that the humour injection that comes with the LEGO franchise will lift the game massively.
